Watch Praise You in This Storm- Casting Crowns FULL in HQ with lyrics Video Praise You in This Storm- Casting Crowns FULL in HQ with lyrics
May 19, 2012
This song goes out to all of the people who are going through some tough storms in their life. Whether it's a death in the family, or a car accident, or anything at all I want to dedicate this to them. May glory be to God and remember that no matter what is going on, God will be there watching you and protecting you. God will answer your prayers and it'll be for the best. He loves you. This is a slideshow of some pictures of storms. Some of the pictures were ones that I took with my camera. There was a bad storm coming, and I love storms, so I had to get some pictures. Some of the pictures weren't taken by me though. Thank you for watching. Comment, rate, and subscribe. Thank you. Lyrics: I was sure by now, That You would have reached down And wiped our tears away, Stepped in and saved the day. But once again, I say amen And it's still raining As the thunder rolls I barely hear You whisper through the rain, "I'm with you" And as your mercy falls I raise my hands and praise the God who gives And takes away. Chorus: I'll praise you in this storm And I will lift my hands For You are who You are No matter where I am And every tear I've cried You hold in your hand You never left my side And though my heart is torn I will praise You in this storm I remember when I stumbled in the wind You heard my cry to You Raised me up again My strength is almost gone How can I carry on If I can't find You And as the thunder rolls I barely hear You whisper through the rain "I'm with you" And ...

Watch Phoenix Dust Storm: Video of Doomsday Scenes in Arizona Video Phoenix Dust Storm: Video of Doomsday Scenes in Arizona
May 18, 2012
These amazing pictures from the United States show a wall of dust moving through the city of Phoenix in Arizona. Sandstorms like this happen during the region's monsoon season, which is underway. They occur over desert land and can reach thousands of feet into the air, spurred by strong winds. The dense cloud dramatically reduced visibility, grounding flights at a major airport and leaving thousands without electricity. Watch Ice Storm 2009 Paducah, KY slideshow Video Ice Storm 2009 Paducah, KY slideshow
May 19, 2012
[WATCH IN HIGH-DEFINITION (HD)] Ice Storm 2009 was the worst ice storm in the area for about the last 40-50 years. Most people I have talked to say that they have lived here their whole life and have never seen anything like this. We have had several other ice storms and winter storms before, but this takes the cake for how destructive. Power outages was not rare in this storm, some raw numbers in the beginning were: Paducah Power - 22000 customers, 21500 without power Jackson Purchase - About 3/4 of their customers without power Also several companies such as: Ameren Illinois, Southeastern Illinois, and Southern Illinois Coops had power outages. Those are just TWO of the many power companies that serve the Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and Northwest Tennessee area. All the pictures in this slideshow were taken in the Paducah, KY area since it was unsafe to travel the roads in the beginning and throughout the storm and its aftermath. Unlike many others, most Paducah Power customers (like me) were able to get re-energized after about 4-7days to try to continue a life around here. There are many people that may not be re-energized for another 30 days after the storm. That is due to around 1500 poles taken down that need to be all replaced. Ice Storm 2009 can be described in many words. such as amazing, "I cant believe my eyes", unbelievable, desvistating, but to everyone I have talked to that went through this including myself has described as a ...

Watch Supercell - some pictures and a time lapse Video Supercell - some pictures and a time lapse
May 06, 2012
Song - Enya - Caribbean blue A supercell is a severe thunderstorm with a deep, continuously rotating updraft (a mesocyclone) Of the four classifications of thunderstorms (supercell, single-cell, multi-cell, and squall line), supercells are the largest and most severe. Supercells are usually found isolated from other thunderstorms, although they can sometimes be embedded in a squall line. Because they can last for hours, they are known as quasi-steady-state storms. Supercells have the capability to deviate from the mean wind. If they track to the right of the mean wind (relative to the vertical wind shear), they are said to be "right-movers." Alternatively, if they track to the left of the mean wind (relative to the shear), they are said to be "left-movers." Supercells can sometimes develop two separate updrafts with opposing rotations, which splits the storm into two supercells: one left-mover and one right-mover. Supercells can be any size, large or small, low or high topped. They usually produce copious amounts of hail, torrential rainfall, strong winds, and substantial downbursts. Supercells are one of the few types of clouds that typically spawn tornadoes within the mesocyclone, although only 30% or less do so. Supercells can occur anywhere in the world under the right pre-existing weather conditions. According to some, the first storm to be identified as such was the Wokingham storm over England, which was studied by Keith Browning and Frank Ludlam in 1962.Supercells ...
