Through visits to northeast Ohio art museums and schools and conversations with local artists, Sharing Art demonstrates real-world applications of techniques taught in middle and high school art classes. Watercolor Techniques: Mary Kay D'Isa does a tour de force of the techniques and tools used in this approach to painting landscapes. Her tools are a fan brush, palette knife, sponge, plastic wrap, rigger brush, and salt. Her techniques include wet-n-wet, color wash, splatter, scratching, sponging, and bleeding. For ease of instruction, the school project demonstrates many of the same techniques at a slower pace. Produced in 2001. Get lesson plans for Sharing Art at www.westernreservepublicmedia.org

Through visits to northeast Ohio art museums and schools and conversations with local artists, Sharing Art demonstrates real-world applications of techniques taught in middle and high school art classes. Textiles: Margot Eiseman creates gorgeous painted silk scarves suitable for framing. She demonstrates the technique of applying a kelp-based resist and then uses dyes to fill in the colors she needs to create a beautiful still life. After a brief explanation of art quilts, Clare Murray constructs a memory box that represents four generations of her family. She uses a wooden box with Plexiglas windows and places layers of broken crockery from her great grandmother, quilting materials from her grandmother, buttons from her mother and some of her own quilt batting to visualize her family history. The box is topped off with a piece of her own quilting. Produced in 2001. Get lesson plans for Sharing Art at www.westernreservepublicmedia.org

Lyrics: The walls are coming out tonight Don't say a word, don't stop me The walls are coming out tonight Avoid your best, you'll running This is the time your on the street This time I'm sorry you're on your knees We'll have the spin All the lovers have seen under your dress We've been sharing lovers for far too long This isn't a last goodbye I will be sleeping 'til our bodies have grow cold again But you're just the same heart The motion has wrapped around your plans While you write this cross on the outside I guess we'll have to wear the time Just felt like saying, you're the best liar I'm not afraid I lost something once All these sudden occurrences We couldn't see them all I can't believe We've let this one go Let go And I'll be making headlines If they find the body As I attempt to erase the past This is the moment when your crashing It's harder than thought Out of respect, your final vacation This is the call To shatter more hearts This is the arm To shatter others I'm not afraid I lost something once All these sudden occurrences We couldn't see them all I can't believe We've let this one go Let go Why has all of this have come to your past? Finally found out why you're running Close your eyes Too many times, I have see your actions Just once I don't want to witness them I'm not afraid I lost something once All these sudden occurrences We couldn't see them all I can't believe We've let this one go Let go

lyrics- The wolves are coming out tonight Don't say you heard this coming The wolves are coming out tonight Oh boy you best be running They say they saw her on the street They said they saw her on her knees I hear there's been more to offer Than the skin under her dress We've been sharing lovers for far too long This isn't a last goodnight We'll be sleeping til our bodies have grown cold again But you're just that suitable For most to lay their hands upon But you've made this just so simple It's just like playing doctor with the dead They just might say you're the best they ever had I'm not afraid I love something once "Are we fighting for something" We can't save them all I can't believe We've let this one go "I'm gone" And I'll be making headlines If they find the body As I attempt to erase the past I'm reliving the moment where true passion Is moving on And I respect your dedication This is the art of sharing lovers This is the art of sharing lovers I'm not afraid I love something once "Are we fighting for something" We can't save them all I can't believe We've let this one go "I'm gone" I have swam in the pools of your past Through the tides of lies running through your hair And since I have reached the shore it seems I've been washed clean Leaving you is purity I'm not afraid I love something once "Are we fighting for something" We can't save them all I can't believe We've let this one go "I'm gone"

Extended music track available for free at willbe.bandcamp.com ------- I've made this remix for fun and for appreciation of Nina's way of sharing art. I don't completely agree with the message, but it's true that copy definitely can't be considered as theft, but as copy. The world changes, internet comes in every home, let the economic models and the laws evolve accordingly. ------- Copying is not theft Song & Animation by Nina Paley Music & arrangement by Willbe www.questioncopyright.org

Visit the Northern Territory, share our story, and create your own. One hundred years ago Northern Territory officially became a state of Australia. Fifty thousand years earlier, Aboriginal people began sharing Dreamtime stories through rock art, song and dance. Today, the Territory story unfolds through its destinations, from the tropics of Darwin and Kakadu National Park, Katherine's gorges, cattle country in Tennant Creek, to the red desert of Alice Springs and Uluru / Ayers Rock in Central Australia. Sit down with an Aboriginal artist, swim in a rock pool shaded by rainforest, walk in an Aboriginal rock art gallery, or have a yarn with one of the local quirky characters. Trailer for the first online video in my online Art Instruction series. music purchased at www.shockwave-sound.com musicbakery.com Here's a few e-mails I've received from artists who've watched the video, some professional artists, and others just beginning. Scott, I ordered your online portrait lesson and just finished watching it for the first time, you did a fantastic job. Both the technical aspects and thoughtful insights into art itself really have me inspired. I love the outdoors and painting landscapes, but it can be easy to get into a rut trying to produce enough for galleries and shows. Something about the video struck a chord with me, and I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the challenge of improving, and also getting back into the habit of drawing everyday. I look forward to the future videos, keep up the great work. Best Wishes, Greg Scheibel www.scheibelfineart.com Scott: I bought your Secrets of Drawing download and just finished watching it. It was more than I expected in so many ways. I loved it, and truth be told, I feel that it is a pivotal moment for me!! That sounds pretty sappy, or deep, but not only did I learn the technical things I had hoped, but you reminded me of why I do this. I can't even express in words how much I loved this video. I have watched the lesson several times, I keep learning every time! I really, really hope you guys do more of these! thanks so much, I'll go draw now! Nicole LeDrew May

As a child growing up in Indian countryside, I had an opportunity to live Ayurveda. My family, even today, continues to believe in Ayurveda like they have done for several generations. I already know about some of the significant differences between Ayurveda and the western approach to diagnosis and treatment. However, till today I remain totally impressed by logic of Ayurveda and charmed by the power and completeness of its comprehensive understanding of life. In last 3 years alone nearly 500 books about Ayurveda are being published in 60 different languages, in 50 countries. Coming two years will add about 500 more books, besides increase in Web sites, CD-ROMs and journals. The film travels nearly 15000 kilometres through landscapes of exceptional beauty and geographical variety in India, Greece and USA. For several months myself and my research team has constantly searched out people and places almost all over the world; to do total justice to this exceptional subject. To voice the story of Ayurveda through exceptional Vaidyas (Ayurvedic Doctors), patients and experts. Some of the Vaidyas have revealed their secrets and open their home and clinics to us. Plant searching tribes took us into dark corner of jungle where a rare endangered plant still grows wild. Ancient Palm-leaf manuscripts locked away for 3 to 5 centuries were in front of us. Ancient 'Mud-Scanning' method of Diagnosis has been considered extinct and lost but our months long efforts managed to track down ...

It's been hard to miss Charlie Sheen in the news in recent weeks, and his reference to XANGO® Juice as his "tiger blood" attracted strong media attention. Among those who noticed includes the producers and hosts of the nationally-syndicated television show "The Doctors", who turned their focus to XANGO Juice and asked this question: "You may have seen Charlie Sheen drinking XANGO, but do you know what XANGO Juice really is?" Today Monday, April 11, the doctors weigh in with their opinions on the health benefits of mangosteen juice - and they taste it on air. Check local listings in your area, as the show may still not have aired where you live. If you missed it, we'll have a clip for you soon or watch YouTube. We're pleased to share this coverage and recognition of XANGO Juice and hope that you'll take advantage of this by sharing with members of your team and current prospects. We appreciate all of your hard work. More on XANGO at www.xango.com
